Meet the Creators

The story begins in 1986 in Milan, when brothers Ennio and Carlo Capasa founded the company. In the same year, they presented their first women's collection in Milan. A milestone followed in 1991, when the 'Woman Collection' was presented for the first time in Paris. Over the next few years, coSTUME NATIONAL expanded its range to include perfumes, eyewear, ready-to-wear fashion, shoes and accessories, which were particularly aimed at the younger generations. In the meantime, however, the two founders have given up their positions in the company and handed over the brand to the Japanese partner Sequedge.
